FAQs

What does a typical night look like?

When I arrive, I check in with you and discuss both you and your baby’s health and wellbeing. I answer any questions you may have and provide guidance about your postpartum journey and your baby’s needs. From there, I give your baby a bath followed by a gentle massage with newborn lotion. I swaddle your little one and welcome you to read a bedtime story if you wish. After that, I handle all feedings throughout the night (of which there are many in the newborn phase) and early morning. If you are breastfeeding, I bring the baby to you in the night and help with latching and lactation. I also do the baby’s laundry, keep the nursery tidy, and clean all bottles and pump parts.

Do you have references?

Yes! I am happy to connect you with some of my past clients.

How many hours / nights do you typically work?

My minimum is 10 hour shifts five nights a week. For many clients, I work 12-hour shifts (7 pm to 7 am or 8 pm to 8 am) all seven nights for 12 weeks, however, others have me come 5 or 6 nights a week for a shorter period of time. During our discovery call, we can discuss what works best for you and your family.

I have pets, is that okay?

Yes! I love all animals. They are part of the family.
